I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
